SOCIAL COMMERCE:
Tesco choose Powershift for Tesco Direct social commerce in Facebook
When Tesco needed to launch an interactive Tesco Direct catalogue in Facebook, they chose the unique Powershift Differencis platform.
The Differencis platform enables companies to create fully interactive commerce applications from (multiple) APIs and Feeds. Greatly speeding up the development and deployment process and making the final applications faster, more flexible and configurable.
Powershift started by assessing the data available and mapping the possible functionality. We then created a set of wireframes that Tesco could play with and amend as they required. Once the wireframes were complete, we supplied designs for each page and the integration and build was begun. In no time Tesco could test their store live in a Facebook page and go-live was just a couple of days later.
For speed to market and without the need to burden internal IT resource, the Powershift Differencis Platform is unrivalled in opening up the social commerce channel for companies.

Video? As packaging?
You bet. In an online world where products and services are easily commoditised by line listings, video is your chance to package your offering and establish a brand position and identity.
The role of video in online business is clearly an opportunity. Video is a great way to explain stuff and entertain people. But getting the format, context and content right are the keys to engaging with your audience.
Popular misconceptions about video having to be glossy, expensive, funny or only 30 seconds long have lead to thousands of terrible business videos. However, there are proven guidelines that we have developed over the last five years. We specialise in creating more effective, targeted video content as well as keeping costs down. Check out our videos above to learn more.
BTW they didn't cost a fortune, they are longer than 30 seconds, there is no dry ice or pyrotechnics and they prove business video works! They have already attracted a number of great clients for us.
Value added communities
Building community is all about forging lasting relationships. In many ways, being a great community manager is like being a good party host. You make sure your guests know where the party is and are warmly welcomed & looked after. After all, engagement is all about giving people a reason to interact with you.
Creating a useful and vibrant social space is about much more than extolling your brand values, goals & mission. Powershift have experience of building communities from the ground up for start-ups as well as established businesses wanting expertise and reassurance in the implementation of their social media strategy.
Not only can we can help you define your objectives & interact with your existing customers, we can also help you extend your reach to influential industry players, thought leaders and potential clients making your social activities pay dividends far beyond servicing your existing client base.

Good content marketing should be informative, and provide insight or professional commentary. More & more research indicates that well crafted content will effect the buying decision that your customers make.
So it comes under many names and guises, but why is it so effective?
Whatever your business, demonstrating that you are knowledgeable and professional is always a must. Creating great content is only half the battle, knowing where & how to distribute, promote and engage across multiple channels is also a challenge faced by businesses & brands today. Finally, you will need to ensure that the content hungry monster that is Google is happy with your offering.

Socialising your content distribution enables you to take your message directly to your audience, rather than waiting for them to come to you. However, one principle of traditional PR is still distinctly relevant: Defining your objectives will enable you to effectively determine what content and which platforms will be effective, and that’s where we can help. Whether it’s defining your objectives, optimising your social profiles, creating an editorial schedule right the way through to maximising the PR potential of your blog. You know that you need to share great content to attract your clients, but having the right channel strategy and tone of voice to make them engage with you are skills that only experience can bring. But you don’t need to learn the hard way; we’ve got it covered. |
